As January wraps up, the Kings are on the rise after firing Coach Mike Brown. Under interim Coach Doug Christie, they’ve gone 11-4, improving to 24-22. But with the February 6th trade deadline approaching, tough choices loom for the front office.
All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox, now in his 8th season and nearing the end of his contract, is at the center of trade rumors. While the Kings are reportedly open to offers, finding a suitable trade has proven difficult. Fox’s known desire to sign with San Antonio in free agency has cooled interest from potential trade partners, making it harder for the Kings to secure the young talent and draft assets they need.
